They probably made the video first and then made a song to fit the video. Back then, it wasn't about the music. Instead, it was all about the video. The videos were focused on the rock star lifestyle image of partying and hot girls. The music was terrible and was just for the background. Thank God for the grunge movement that knocked this shit into oblivion.
